Stoke City FC

Stoke City Football Club nicknamed the Potterswere was formed in 1863 and was one of the 12 founding members of the football league. The club has its home at the Britannia Stadium, which is a modern purpose built stadium built in 1997 and has a capacity of 28,000. The team colours are Red and white stripe shirt with white shorts with red trim.

Directions To The Stadium

BY ROAD FROM THE M6 .Exit the M6 at junction 15, and take the A500 to Stoke-On-Trent. After a two miles, the road follow the middle lane, up the hill, onto a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second left onto the A50 following the signs for Derby/Uttoxeter follow the sign posts and continue along the A50 to the stadium on the right.

Stoke City finished the season half way down the Coca Cola Championship with 58 pts. Stoke City boss Johan Boskamp is set to leave the club in the summer after confirming that he will not be signing a new contract with the Potters.

Season ticket sales have been dissappointing at about 6000, about 1000 below the same time last year.
